Slow start-up and frequent "stop-working" experiences

Recently I have noticed that the start-up time for my Logos Bible Software is becoming quite long. In addition, the program frequently stops working for some time, when commands are given in various windows. Is there something I can do to decrease the start-up time and to reduce the number of times it stops working?

Load to a blank layout. Also, what kind of drive do you have? How much free space?

Thanks, Alabama. No problem with free space. I sometimes think that the "stop working" issues have to do with the amount of system resources being used by indexing at the same time as I am trying to use the program. Pausing the indexing would probably reduce the incidences of that problem.

Pausing would help if you must work when Logos starts indexing. Outside of indexing we would need logs e.g. if startup is slow.
