Logos Web App
A question from a non-technical user: What am I supposed to do with this app? Does it take the place of the regular desktop I am used to seeing when I open Logos?

No, the desktop has more functionalities
The web app is mainly if you want to use Logos on a computer where you cannot install the desktop version (e.g. work or public computer)

Ken, it depends on your needs. Eventually, you'll see the desktop and web apps aligning even further. For now, the web app lacks many desktop features, but it has most of the essentials.
For some users, the web app may (soon) cover all their needs. For other users, they may need the power or offline features of the desktop, but like the quick, download-free, indexing-free access to the web app for basic needs. Some users who can't run our Windows or Mac app (Chromebook or Linux users, or people with old computers or insufficient space) will finally be able to use Logos on their preferred hardware/OS. Other users may just want quick access when they're away from their home or office computer. There are numerous scenarios where we expect the web app will help existing users do better Bible study.
