I was wondering what you all thought was the best deals were and what is worth buying? I am having difficulty trying to decide, and I definitely cannot afford it all. What would you all recommend? So many decisions...haha 🤔🤔🤔
If you don't have it, Moo on Romans.Â
The course or the commentary?
Commentary! There's a free course online by Moo.
Tim Keller is a good deal, though I only grabbed 7 out of his 11 title.
F.F. Bruce I got his NICNT commentaries.
some John Piper and some MacArthur, no commentaries as they say his sermons are his commentaries except the commentaries are better tagged and outlined.

Thanks for the input DAL! I'll check some of those out
I meant the commentary. Best price you'll ever see. For what it's worth I think it's the second highest rated commentary on BestCommentaries.com - behind Carson on John.Â
Thanks for the input!

More popular than academic but Barclay is very nice I picked up the two books offered I didn't own.

I got the commentary, slowly acquiring them when on sale--I have the "Pradis" complete set . . . a constant sore point, lol.
I am considering the course. Â I lean more toward non-Reformed and probably NPP, but I am drawn by having the value of a structured "course" since I have recently decided to study Romans on my own. Â I'm curious to his treatment and breadth of recommended reading--and I have also been building my NPP library, having, I think, everything (or nearly so) of Wright, as well as Dunn, etc. Â So I can add my own readings as necessary. Â I like the idea of a verbal guided tour to keep me interested and enhance the learning experience. Â And 70% off is pretty good. Â Am still considering both Moo's Romans and his NT overview (looked interesting). Â I got Galatians, too, relatively cheap, short course.
I picked up Bruce's "Canon" book, something i've avoided for a long time because I have the hard cover, but having it digitized will be nice, especially with reading I am doing on Tradition and Canon in the ressourcement series.
I also got the '5 views" (under Moo), also having had the hard copy for a couple decades. Â Want to reread and compare.
I have looked at Brueggeman, because he is from a different tradition than I am and I like his writing, but so far, have resisted.
I really wanted authors that went out at 30 and 35% (Brown, Fitzmeyer, Kreeft), but the works I want are a bit steep/costly and am not really currently using them, so will hold off hoping they come around again in some sale . . .
