Looks great, but I wonder is the price tag of £320 can be justifiable? Do lots of people buy resources like these bundles on logos? I guess I wonder if it is worth it to buy a collection like this instead of individual books? What's the incentive? I am confident you could get these books using kindle or in paper form for significantly less than the £370 quoted in the collection. Is this an item likely to be in a sale? Would have been good to see CS Lewis on March Madness. I would love some/all of these resources, but for £320? I'm not convinced....

The price is high. No doubt. It's 30 volumes, but that amounts to about £30/volume. In US$ it's $399, which is just over $13/volume. It's not a bargain, no matter how you look at it. You could get these resources cheaper elsewhere, but then they wouldn't be integrated into Logos (which has a lot of value for me, personally).

For many years the guardians of the CS Lewis copyrights have resisted putting his works into digital form at any cost. I suspect that is part of the reason for the high cost in Logos (though I have no insider information on this).

As for sales, these types of things are worked out between Logos (Faithlife Corp) and the original publisher or current copyright holder. Again, I have no insight into the nature of the agreement that allows Logos to offer these works to us. I may even be the case that this bundle will not be "unbundled" for quite some time. But that's all speculation on my part.

We all keep waiting for Logos to make them available individually. I'd be happy to pay $13 for the books I want. I only want a half dozen or so of them, and don't want to pay $400 for the whole thing.

It seems that much of C. S. Lewis is in public domain in Canada, but not the USA. I am not suggesting that US residents should download them for free, but they certainly can. In the U.S.A. they can be bought fairly inexpensively on Kindle. Again, I am not suggesting that others should covert the kindle books in personal books, but of course, they could.

All of this makes it hard to understand why they are so expensive in Logos. Perhaps, because publishers sense they can get it.
