Welcome to the forums! Sorry you are having troubles. [:s]
Every time I attempt to do a passage or topic search on the Logos 7 home screen, the program crashes. Any ideas?
Is it only when you use the homepage? Does it crash if you run passage/topic guide from a layout? One of your log files indicated a corrupted .db file, but I don't want to guess which one. Hopefully a full fledge techie will be by soon.
Thanks for the help. If I switch to the passage guide layout without doing a search, it does crash. It does not with the topic layout.
I suggest you go to the Layouts menu and choose Replace with current layout for Passage. You can change that as desired and choose Replace with... again.
Thanks Dave. That makes no difference. It still crashes as soon as I try to use the passage guide.
Hey Anthony! I'm taking a look at your logs now. It looks like it's crashing when trying to pull up the Biblical Places and Media section of your passage guide. Instead of replacing the layout, lets try restoring it to defauly by right-clicking on it and selecting "Restore Default Layout".After doing so, does the crash still occur?
I'd like to add if it's still crashing after this, please post updated logs. Hopefully they will provide a bit more information on the database crash we're seeing logged as well.
Thanks Brandyn. I really needed to get back to work on things today. I did try to restore the default layout to no avail.
I ended up deleting my data folder entirely and letting Logos re-download and re-index. It took a really long time, but things are working again. I'll post here again if the problem crops back up.

If that did solve it, that would mean it was the .db file mentioned in your crash history that would be continuing to cause it, as rebuilding the data folder would cause the .db file in question to rebuild as well. I'm happy to hear you are back up and runnning however. Please let us know if you have any further trouble!
