Verse reference in note document.

This is a reference to a problem in Android note documents.

We were discussing Tithing.  I wanted to find a certain verse that discusses Tithing, so I brought up the list of documents, then opened the note file 'Tithing'.  I scrolled down to the note that said what I wanted to see, but from there it does not tell me what Bible verse it is linked to. It only has my note text, and shows which document the note is stored in.  Shouldn't the note show what verse it is discussing?

Let me know if this does not make sense.

Thanks in advance

    Hi Gary

This is a difference between the Android and iOS platforms (you may already know this - if so apologies - but I thought it worth outlining for the developers)

On iOS a note will look like this - with the note titles tappable enabling you to easily get to the references

Under Android the same note looks like this - with no title displayed and hence not tappable

Yes it should, but there is a bug in the Android version which hides the linked reference in Notes.  If you selected 'Attach to Reference' when the note was created, you can at least see the ref (after you open the note to edit), however it's still not linked.  This issue has been reported (August 2016).

You can manually create links in notes.  If you are interested, I posted how to do this here: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/134685/894206.aspx#894206, and a more involved example here: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/134770/875959.aspx#875959
