Proverbs Study

I would like to ask this question.

I need to identify, in the book of Proverbs, all occurrences of the verses that deal with certain subjects....e.g. anger, fear, greed, etc. (The World's Way of dealing with situations and people).

I then need to compare that information with the Wisdom Way (God's way of dealing with situations and people).

For example if the world's way is greed, then God's way is generosity...

Here is an example:

The World's Way: Cheating and Extortion: 11:1a - "False balance is abomination to the Lord."

The Wisdom Way: Just dealings with others: 11:1b - "a just weight is his delight."

How could I easily do this in Logos 7

Hi Brent - and welcome to the forums

I then need to compare that information with the Wisdom Way (God's way of dealing with situations and people).

If you have access to the "Proverbs Explorer Interactive" available under the Tools menu depending on which Logos packages you have then that could be worth looking at.

It opens showing a list of all proverbs in the Hebrew Bible and you can then use the options on the left to filter the results. So you can go from something like this:

to something like this with just a few clicks:
