What are your favorite apps that include tabbed browsing?
What are your favorite mobile apps that use tabbed browsing? For example, I really enjoy the Chrome app on my Pixel phone.

My favorite is icabMobile (german) for tabbed browsing. It's heavily tailorable ... old-school. I badly overload it with too many tabs. I probably am its worst crasher.
Laridian Bible has a nice multi-dimensional approach ... tabs, plus slide across resources within a tab. He's re-doing the UI (a bit aged), but the concept allows very fast study access in a really small space.
About what I don't like? Safari's tabs. If you switch tabs, it wants to re-load, chewing up my gig-budget. This really is a problem if you're typing in one tab, check another, and then return .... poof. Plus, it's slow.

1 second this observation - I find it is quick and easy even on the phone and easy to load up 5 different books.

I use the Chrome browser on both my phone and tablet.
Pros: When a new tab is open the original page is preserved. It is easy to return to the original page even after navigating to several other pages. I also frequently make use of Chrome's ability to easily navigate between open tabs.
Cons: Having too many open tabs will slow the device.

Daniel, I do not have any favorite apps to suggest that have not already been mentioned. Instead, what I offer are thoughts on how I would like to see tabs implemented in Faithlife's mobile apps. Hopefully they will be helpful.
1. I would use tabs as a stopgap until the mobile apps allow a Greek and a Hebrew Bible to be linked as a series. In other words, one panel would have an English Bible open and the other panel would have two tabs open, one with a Greek New Testament and one with a Hebrew Bible (and/or Septuagint). For this scenario to work, I would need my original language texts to ALL be synced with my English Bible. If I move to an OT passage in my English text, I would expect the OT text(s) I have opened in the opposite panel to also open that passage. If I move to a NT passage in my English Bible, I would expect my NT text in the opposite panel to follow.
2. I would use tabs as a stopgap until the mobile apps allow jumping directly from an original-language word to the correct entry in a prioritized lexicon. With what is available now, the process would be to start with a Bible in one panel and open a word study in the opposite panel. Opening any lexicon closes my Bible. If tabs are implemented, I would like the option to open lexicons in BACKGROUND tabs IN THE SAME PANEL as the word study. This would allow me (1) to quickly open whichever lexicons I want all at once and then shift my attention to reading them, and (2) would leave my Bible still in view so I can still see the passage I am studying while reading lexical entries. I would want this same sort of behavior for the passage guide, topic guide, etc., for the same reasons.
There are other uses for tabs, but these would be the two big ones. In short, make sure I can sync them, allow me to open them in background tabs without losing the focus of the main tab, and allow me to open them in a panel of my choice.
