Hi
I am using the Exegetical guide for a verse in OT, the lemma in passage has an error "Failed to load".
It works for NT, but not the OT.
Does anyone know why?
Thanks.
Tim
Which verse?
Genesis 1:1, Psalm 16:10.
Strange
What Logos 7 base package do you have?
Are you a Logos Now or Logos Cloud subscriber?
I bought a package long ago when I first join Logos 3 or 4. Now I have a Pre Logos 7 library. I have stopped subscribing for Logos Now.
I have stopped subscribing for Logos Now.
That could be relevant as the use of this feature requires either a Logos Now or Cloud subscription.
So I don't understand how it works for you in the New Testament!
If I join Logos Now, do I have to buy Logos 7 base package?
No - Logos Now gives you access to the Logos 7 engine (which you can get for free with the Logos 7 Basic package - https://www.logos.com/product/136022/basic) and all of the Logos 7 features (with access to new features as they become available)
So if I buy the Logos 7 basic package I do not have to join Logos Now?
Correct - but the basic package just gives you the engine and access to a few resources and features.
If you want the Lemma in Passage function you need Logos Now.
Sorry I know this can get rather confusing - is it just the Lemma in Passage function you are interested in or other things as well?
I would like all the features under the lemma. I will subscribe for Logos Now. Thank you.
You're welcome - and please do post back if you have any further issues.
It is still not working. I will wait for one more day.
Have you subscribed?
If so, try the command "update resources" in the command box
I have done that, it is still not working.
When you start Logos does it show you are running version 6 or 7?
It is Logos 7.
Now I realise the LEMMA function works for a passage (that too much information to for me to handle) but not a single verse. I used to be able to do verse by verse study, perhaps I need to adjust some setttings.
it is working now. Thanks.
It is working, but I have more commentaries than those indicated in the result list, for example the NICOT Genesis is not on the list.
Yes, if you look at the NICOT volume you will see it uses transliterated Hebrew and so the Hebrew lemmas themselves aren't present so nothing to match against.
