A16 crash reports

I don't know what caused it, but I have had two crashes resulting from the latest alpha. But for the first time in as long as I can remember, I don't have a program hang when exiting the program. Woo-Hoo! But I do prefer that it not exit until I am ready.4341.Archive.zip

Actually I really was not doing anything, at least not purposely. I am at work, so I was letting it do updates and index. It had downloaded the RI-s and indexed. Then upon restart it showed to be A16 with another 27m download starting. That finished and indexed and I restarted again. It did another short index and them appeared to be complete. The order of the updates seemed odd to me; 275 resulting in the A16 showing and then 27m followed by indexing? My numbers might be off. I really wasn't trying to put them to memory. So after the last update I was looking at the logs out of curiosity when it vanished the first time. This happened a second time right after. I do know that it was building the PG and the Cited By when it happened, as that is where the program had left off the time before. I have a suspicion that it had to do with the BP, because both times it crashed, it seems like it was trying to build a data type identified in the log by what to me was some random letters. I am sure they were not random, but they didn't mean anything to me. The next time that it didn't crash, I am pretty sure that the same random letter data type was immediately followed in the log by the scaling of the BP images. I don't think it ever got far enough to display those images on either of the two crashes. I know this isn't very good science, because I am going by memory on most of this. But I hope this combined with the crash logs might help.

Is there not an automatic Logos 4 crash log? Or is that only in the PC Beta?

Only in PC Beta.

All I can say is that if you can reliably reproduce the crash, please let us know how and repost your logs. Thanks for helping out.
