Logos for Mac

I cannot get the program to install period. It immediately opens to the front page, but nothing loads. It does not load any content, nor does it do anything. There is no little blue thing showing at the top of my commputer. How do I get this to install. Last night, I thought that it was going to work and left it on all night and half the day. The computer said it was installing but never did. I am frustrated.

I have an iMac. 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.

I went to My Orders and downloaded the file for the Mac. I saved it to my desktop. I double clicked on the Logos4Setup. I entered my email address and password. Logos opens to the newspaper looking page. It does not matter how long I leave it alone, it will not put anything into it. When I talked to the people at Logos, they said that there should be a blue progression icon at the top. There is nothing.

Well, that is my story. I hope you can help.

Wonder about permissions in your personal Library/LaunchAgents directory - Logos 4 needs to create com.logos.LogosIndexer.plist file - used for launching Logos4Indexer process (that displays blue icon in menu bar when running).

By the way, forum http://community.logos.com/forums/t/6731.aspx has directions for enabling logging and posting files.

I double clicked on the Logos4Setup

Logos4Setup.exe is the name of the Windows installer. You need to download the Logos4Mac.dmg file from http://www.logos.com/logos4mac.

From there you'll see the Logos Bible Software 4 application bundle which you can drag to your Applications folder.
