Easy way to search for all fiction titles in Logos and Vyrso?

Through the years I have purchased Christian Fiction titles for my wife in both Logos and Vyrso format.

Anyone know a good way to search for and isolate just those Christian Fiction (or historical fiction) in both my Logos/Vyrso account please?

I would like to make a list of the fictional titles to give to my wife. She has access to my logos account and enjoys fiction (I don't. I confess I tried to get into some fictional titles that Heiser has written like this one but very quickly asked for my money back: https://www.logos.com/product/49583/the-unseen-realm-recovering-the-supernatural-worldview-of-the-bible).

No, but start with a library filter of edition:e and sort by "subject."

While you are free to believe differently from Dr. Heiser's interpretation of particular bible verses, I hope you know that particular book is not fiction, but theology. Please don't misrepresent that, Josh.

I imagine someone else has already asked your question, and there probably is a good existing answer that someone else might be able to link to.

In the meantime, one simple thing you could try would be tag:fiction.

Except that ebooks (Vyrso) don't have any Subject's.

If using Community Tags as a Library filter then ensure Show Community Tags is set to Yes in Program Settings. Otherwise you have to do the tagging yourself. Start with the edition:ebook filter in Library as that is where almost all fiction titles would come from.

Not true. <Most> Vyrso titles don't have subjects, but some do.

Did they eliminate "community tags"? I never had use for them, but that might be helpful in this case. I went to look for them, but couldn't find them.

WRONG! It is only <mostly> dead. With all dead, there is usually only one thing you can do. Dig through their pockets and look for loose change. (movie reference [:P]

Me too... I did figure out why I am not seeing them. There is a "show community tags" setting. Mine is set to "no."

hmmm....I never did find a definitive answer or how to do this. Will have to hunt for the titles on my own without using Logos or Vyrso to do it I guess.

I got a real chuckle out of the Heiser theology post. Thanks for that one. He certainly writes some imaginative fanciful stuff which Logos loves to hype. My guess is we would find most of his work in libraries right next to other fictions posing as theology like THE SHACK and THE DAVINCI CODE. I am surprised Logos is not offering a package deal with those books [8-)]

You did receive a definitive answer, just not the one you were hoping for. [:P] To summarize:

You should start by filtering for edition:e
You can sort by subject, but as Dave points out, it isn't likely to give you much help with Vyrso titles.
You can sort by community tags. If you don't see community tags as an option, you will need to turn it on in preferences.
Outside of those suggestions, yes, you will have to hunt for the titles on your own.
