verse numbering

I find Logos to be a valuable tool yet it is so very confusing to find some of the simplest things. How do I get each verse number to show while in a reading plan? I watch the tutorial videos such as the Introduction reading plan for Jonah that is supposed to teach us these concepts. I find that it goes so fast that it is hard to follow. I have watched the first and second video and have to continually rewind just to get one item out of all that is being shown. I am not new to computers or software programs yet this is seemingly very hard to follow.

How do I get each verse number to show while in a reading plan?

I'm not quite sure of what you are seeing but is this only an issue when reading (presumably a Bible) in a reading plan? Do you see the verse numbers when reading the Bible outside of a plan?

If you don't see verse numbers you may have "Bible Text Only" set - it's under something known as the Visual Filters menu in the resource and, as you can see, there are options to control whether chapter / verse numbers are shown

But there are other possible explanations so, if the above doesn't help, please provide some more details and, ideally, some screenshots to illustrate what you are seeing. Please attach the screenshot using the paperclip icon in the forum editor

Graham, thank you for your fast reply. I did find that area you directed me to and am now able to see the numbers. I think this will be really great when I get the basics down, it just seems so different from what I have been using.

The Visual Filter menu (three dots) also has an option to show/hide Reading Plan(s) in a resource:

Showing or hiding Chapter and Verse numbers is chosen per Bible resource. Reading Plan can be used with verse numbering not shown:

When shown, Reading Plan has bars above and below section to read.

When verse numbers are not being displayed in a Bible, can click a word (or highlight a range of words), which appears in locator bar. Also right click on a word (or selected words) includes verse reference, which can be used to add a Note

Other option for adding a note is attaching to selected word(s), which can also be highlighted. Attaching a note by verse reference allows note to appear in any Bible and Commentary with verse reference. Attaching note to words in a Bible with Reverse Interlinear tagging allows original language lemma to be used for corresponding display in other Bibles with Reverse Interlinear tagging
