I'm new to Logos, having just purchased a package (I have the DVD here with me). And, I also got Chafer's 8-vol Systematic Theology to go with it. But, I might not be able to install the whole thing right away. Does that matter?
I'm using Libronix 3.0g right now for basic stuff:
- Bible searchs and copying verses into sermons and lessons.
- Geisler Electronic Library on Apologetics
- Theological Journal Library 1-9 (wish I had the rest...)
- Thomas Nelson Essential Bible Study Collection
- Assorted Bibles (different languages I use)
But, I'm also neck-deep in fnishing an MDiv with languages and I don't have the time to learn Logos4 right now. I will in a few months, but for now... I can't spare the week (or however long it would take) to get through the videos, etc. on how to use Logos4.
Also, I'm not sure how long the indexing would take... and I need my computer for studies, homework, sermons, etc.
Is there any problem with waiting for a bit to install my DVD version of Logos4 and my downloadable Chafer?
Or should I just go ahead and install Logos4 alongside of my Libronix, and let the indexing go all night one day when I'm caught up? That way I can "play" with Logos4 in my "spare" time and start to get used to it.
Thanks ahead of time for any advice.
