Crashes as soon as resources start downloading

Hello,

I am using the latest download (16a) and Logos will load up, and flash up that it is going to download some new resources (1.90 GB). As soon as the small Logos logo appears in the menu-bar at the top to start the resources downloading Logos crashes. I've tried it a few times and it always crashes at the same time.

I have played around with a previous version that didn't crash a while back now - maybe version 8 or something like that. Sounds like progress is coming along fast though, so I'm hoping I'll be able to ditch my parallels and windows logos soon!

If you look at the FAQ link in my signature, item #6 has a note on how to submit logs. Obviously you've done that part, since I got your logs. But there is a part in Joe Miller's original thread about nlog.config. If you could download that file (named I think 0181.nlog.config) and replace the /Users/<your_user_id>/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Logging/nlog.config with that one, changing the name, obviously.

That will turn on more Indexer logging, which might give us a better handle on what's crashing the indexer.

Once you've updated the nlog.config, can you send me your logs again?

I did do that. In hindsight I probably should have replicated the error having set up the logging to work, which I didn't do.

As an update to this a lost my internet connection a while ago. As a test I tried logging on to Logos (16A) and it loaded up and I was able to use it.

So it looks like this is something to do with a download issue of the updates for stuff I've bought.

If you get the latest alpha (18) and post your logs again, that will help us track down this error. We've improved the logging since alpha 16.
