interestingly enough, logos 4 generates reports signifcantly slower than my logos 3.  This is the case with passage guide as well as bible searches.  Bible speed search on logos 3 was much faster than the bible search on logos 4.  My computer is pretty fast.  So i am not sure why this is the case.  Does logos 4 provide the capability of creating workspaces?

Workspaces have been replaced with Layouts (upper right corner). I find them far superior to the old workspaces.

What's the best way to save a layout, please?     I haven't been able to figure it out yet.    Guess that when I learn to save a layout, that I will be able to name it as well...

next to the name under the layout thumbnail you'll see a little pencil. anytime you see this in the program it means you can edit the content. Simply click on the name and it will be highlighted. As soon as you type in the name and hit enter the name will appear on in the left hand column as well as the thumbnail list.

    Hi Mel,

I couldn't figure this one out either, its very subtle hope the following visual helps.

    1. Click on layout button and layout drop down will open. Shown will be a list of recent layouts.

    2. The one you have setup currently will be shown as 'Now' and have a name of "Snapshot followed by a time stamp.  At the end of this name is a faint pencil image.

    3. Click on this and a text entry box will open up allowing you to change the name.

    Blessings

    Andrew

    Andrew,

What program are you using for your images?
    They're very impressive.

Snagit.....www.techsmith.com. This is the same company that puts out Jing that some have used for screencasts in their posts.

Maybe I need new glasses, Andrew!    ...    couldn't see the pencil   ...

Thanks for the help ...     I've lost a few really good "workspaces"  (like the word "workspace"!)    also could't see the pencil in a couple of other areas ...    Maybe Logos could make the pencil a tad darker?

    Yours in Christ,
