Is the entire 86 vol. Charles Spurgeon worth the money?

Hello everyone,

I was considering on buying the Charles Spurgeon collection (86 vols.) for $699.95

Is it worth the money?

But I was considering on buying the discounted works (Lectures to my Students, The Treasury of David, My Sermon Notes) of Spurgeon that are offered through the "March Madness" program. Is this the better option? Please give me some personal opinions.

Well, I do love Spurgeon, but that is pretty steep.  In my opinion, the main thing I want in Spurgeon are his sermons.  Spurgeon is first and foremost a preacher.  I have all his sermons in Logos now, and I paid about $500 less than this price.

Does this collection include all of his sermons?  I am not sure.

I would like to add Spurgeon's Lectures to my Students and The Treasury of David to my collection, but I will get those through March Madness.

His biographies do not particularly interest me in Logos format.  A book like that I had rather read in paper / book form.

So for me the answer would be "No, this collection is not worth $600."  I would just buy his sermons and add the others that I mentioned in March Madness.   But for others, the answer may be yes.  We are all different.
