Salvation Yeshua and Messiah

The imagery evoked by the beautiful prophetic declaration in Is 52.7 is the inspiration for the following. Salvation is an important focus of Judeo-Christian theology. The Hebrew word yehsua translated salvation conveys an idea that finds its fulfillment in the crucified Messiah and risen Lord Jesus Christ.

I would very much appreciate recommendations in Logos or otherwise, resources that discuss the Jewish concept of salvation and the use of the word yeshua and its relationship with the Christian concept of salvation through Christ. I have three of the resources that others recommended to me in the thread https://community.logos.com/forums/t/68478.aspx?PageIndex=1 .  Of those three, one is free in Kindle format from Amazon and the other two are available as Logos resources.

The only one I've read so far is the free Kindle resource titled "Jewish Theology" by Kaufmann Kohler.  I think it may address your question to some extent, but from what I've found so far, finding answers in any resource to very specific and nuanced questions can be very time consuming and often unsuccessful.  I think that's mainly due to the fact that while an author may deal with the subject you're interested in, he/she often has an interest or purpose in writing that just doesn't lend itself to providing clean-cut answers to the specific questions you may have.  I read the Kindle version of this book back in 2013, and as I recall, while Mr. Kohler provided more information on Judaism than the average person could possibly want, I still had a hard time finding a straight answer to my specific questions.   Unfortunately, it can take a lot of searching and reading in a resource before you can get a good feel for that.

I have not yet read the two suggested Logos resources that I own, but I did take a look through the table of contents in each and didn't walk away with high hopes they would address your specific questions.  But if you're interested in pursuing them farther, they are:  "The Promise-Plan of God" by Walter Kaiser and "The Eerdmans Dictionary of Early Judaism".

I hope someone else can recommend a resource or two that hits the sweet spot for you.
