Typo? Dict of Vulgate; nouissime

I'm not remotely latin-based, so I put a question mark.

I ran into this on DR's odd intro at Heb 1.2. And the latin text also shows novissime, plus my lexicons. The above dictionary is nouissime.

Which if anyone is a Vulgate expert, does Logos (or not Logos) have a good apparatus on the latin side? I have Biblia Sacra Vulgata (apparatus) but it's pretty thin, and skipped right over Heb 1.2

I'm hoping linkage to the old latin.

I'm not a Vulgate expert, but I went through 6 years of Latin at school.

If I remember right, v and u are essentially the same letter in Latin, and have been differentiated only recently so that modern readers have less difficulties (IVLIVS CAESAR = JULIUS CAESAR).

So this is actually not really a typo, but rather an inconsistency in spelling...
