License Sync Crashing is it L3 or L4 problem?

Received the Spurgeon collection this morning. Installed on L3. That all went well but I then had to get the resources into L4.

When I tried to do a license sync after the updates it would just hang on the License Upload and not go further.

L3 just hangs no further action, must kill L3 by forcing program to shutdown (ALT CNTR DELETE and kill the processes to return to normality (libsys and LDLS).

Is this a L3 problem or is it a bit more involved and caused by the beta downloads and updates? L3 works well after forced shutdown. I tried 3 times to sync with no success. I must do the sync to get the new resources into L4.

Just a question ----will L4 pick up the resources from L3 and my hard drive or will it force another large download? Please see other postings about the size of downloads and us poor people not so blessed to live in USA where downloads are no problem.

All OK now. Retried sync of licenses in L3 and it went through. Now for L$ to pick up the spurgeon resources. Has not happened yet ! Hope I can get it done this evening so that re-index can run overnight. Last re-index took 7 hours to complete.

Hi this issue has been discovered this morning by me as well, so I filed a case and the fix should make it into Beta3. Would you like to take the process of manually forcing the program to rediscover all of your resources? This will include a 1GB download, and a re-indexing proces (which will take at least 20-40 minutes before it will even launch the program, mine relaunched in 30 minutes).

Thanks George, I did a scan C: etc process through the command bar in L4. Thar seemed to pick up all the resources that were missing. I ran the re-index overnight and all seems OK now. I have already downloaded over 3 gig which is my monthly cap, so I would prefer not to have to do an unnecessary download if possible.

Ok, so long as you can continue working with it.
