Changing email address in blue ribbon.

I've just changed my email address and have updated my account details via the Logos web page, but my old email address still appears in the blue ribbon even though I have asked Logos to sync now etc. Any ideas as to how to correct this please?

Can I be sure that any further correspondence from Logos (payments etc) will come to my new address and not the old one?

Help would be appreciated.

Stephen, are you able to log on to the Logos.com website using your new email address? If not, then they still consider your old one to be your account login, and that is what will show up in the Logos ribbon. The only way to change that would be to call Customer Service. As for whether billing info will get sent to your old or new address, I'm guessing it would be your new one, but I can't be certain. Again, a call to CS would give you an answer on that. Best time to reach them (wait times very low these days) is just after 6 AM Pacific Time. Alan McGregor got through immediately at 6:01AM yesterday.

    Thanks Rosie,

Yes, I can login to my account and that all appears to be working, but the blue ribbon still remains the same. Coincidentally, my posts tally on these forums appears to have dropped to '1' despite my previous listings - rats!

Guess I'll give customer service a call!

    Cheers!

I'd actually won't complain if other correspondence from Logos (especially new book downloads) came to my new address but payments went to the old one [:D]

Just curious, but wouldn't a change in email require changing your login (i.e. holding Ctrl when opening Logos 4 to put in the new email address)?

My email address is different from my customer id (which is also a former email address). For a while I got two of everything in news mailings, but that sorted itself out. I only get one now. Presumably Logos dropped the old email, or the email provider (it wasn't an ISP) stopped forwarding emails and just bounced them.

BRILLIANT! Thank you LaRosa for providing the answer! It may be a simple solution, but I just didn't realise that was how you did it. Many thanks! [:)]
