One would have thought it possible to search in a Bible for occurrences of a Biblical person. Has anyone worked out the syntax for this?
I assume you mean person names in general:-
In Logos Greek Morphology it is an Indeclinable + Proper Noun (this will pick up geographic names)
In the Andersen-Forbes Hebrew/Aramaic Morphology it is Noun + Proper + Human
No, sorry. I meant is it possible to search using the Biblical Person tagging? I would expect there to be a "Search this resource" on the right click menu, but there isn't.
If it were a "tag" the Search Fields in a Bible's Resource Information would indicate this (or the Search Fields drop-down in 4.0c's Search). Even if it were I doubt there would any advantage over searching with the Selection (top of your example).
The recognition of Peter as a proper human name or Biblical Person must be done internally as the results of a Topic search are provided in the context menu. Ditto for Places.

I'm trying to figure this out as well, and take it further. I'd like to list every Person tagged in a bible range (i.e., the Gospel of Mark). In the year since this was first posted, you have you come across any helpful search syntax?
Thanks,
Adam

Open a passage guide with no sections in it (create a custom guide and don't put anything into it). Set the range for Mark 1-16. In the upper right add the "Biblical People" Section.
