Using Multi-Volume resources in link-set panels

I have a question I cannot find a solution to.

Here's a simple setup that I use sometimes, having two windows in logos side-by-side, I will open ESV on the left, and a single volume commentary, (example: The Bible Knowledge Commentary) and I set both windows to "Link Set A". As I click through the ESV bible, the commentary window on the right changes to reflect the book/chapter/verse I'm looking at.

Using the same setup, if I want to use a different commentary (example: New International Commentary, which is a multi-volume set), I have to manually open each volume to display on my commentary window.

Is there a way to create a Collection or something similar to use on my Commentary window that will auto open the appropriate volume? In other words, with multi-volume sets, is it possible to use them as a single logical volume?

Are you working on a laptop/desktop or are you working on a mobile device? 

On my Windows 10 Surface, I just opened up ESV in one window and NIC in a different window.  The NIC window tracked the ESV as I went from Matthew to Mark to Genesis.  In each case a new volume of NIC automatically opened.  This seems to be the behavior you desire.

Since you brought the topic up, I tried this out using the new Multiple Resources feature of a single panel.  I placed the ESV, my ESV Study Bible, and the NIC commentaries stacked in a single window.  I Noticed that if I visited a book of the Bible for which I had no corresponding NIC commentary; e.g., Exodus, then the separate linked NIC window did not change and the sub-panel containing the stacked NIC would disappear until I revisited an existing volume.
