Maybe they are testing their update procedures to avoid another Berkhof disaster.

Some of these (NIV Application Commentary, e.g.) aren't due to ship for over a week (4-5-10 on my pre-pub page).

Releasing these resources on a Friday afternoon would show very poor judgement, even if everything went smoothly.

They can't be downloaded yet into L3, though, can they? Our licenses won't be unlocked until April 5.

Well actually you can download them, but your licenses are not activated so in ver 3 they will show as locked. And, they could send the license unlocks out before Apr 5. Who knows, we can just wait and be surprised!

I was happy to see them, at least they probably won't be late....

New book files are downloaded to the Logos ftp site several days ahead of their release. While they are not unlockable at that point, you can get some pertinent information by downloading them and using 'About This Resource'. ftp site is ftp://ftp.logos.com/lbxbooks/
