I have been using a little utillity called "BetterTouchTool" with my MBP and Magic mouse for quite awhile now and really have come to love it. The purpose of the utility is to allow programming of gestures for the Magic Mouse and the Track Pad that automatically execute commands of your choosing. Opening your L4Mac to different spaces and then using gestures to move automatically between the spaces is one example of how it makes working with L4Mac easier.
They just implemented another feature that I have seen some people talking about using a commercial utility for, they call it Windows 7 windows resizing. It allows you to drag a panel of your L4 (or any other program) to a portion of the screen edge and it automatically expands the window and snaps it in place.
Did I mention that it was free?
I have the site address for downloads and demos listed as an announcement under my profile.
