Help - Not able to join groups?

I know I have joined groups in the past, but for some reason I am not able to join two I am interested in:

Logos Visual Filters

Introductory Grammar Vocabulary Lists

All I see when I go to those groups is a "Follow" button.

I must have something set incorrectly or doing something incorrectly.

Help, please.

    Hello Steve,

    Thank you very much for the post. I apologize for the trouble. I took a quick glance at your account and found that you're currently not part of these two groups. Is there something that happens when you click follow?

    All I see when I go to those groups is a "Follow" button.

    After "Follow" can change your group connection to Member (if allowed by group settings).

    FYI: some groups only allow followers (so "Joining" now needs to "Follow" first then change to "Member").
