Keil and Delitzsch Commentary on the Old Testament 10 volumes vs. German version 15 volumes

I'm looking at getting this commentary.

I noticed the English version is 10 volumes and the 

German original is 15 volumes.

Is the German version more complete? 15 volumes vs 10 and a higher price. It's been a while since I used German as a research language but if there is that much more in it then I will surely consider getting the German edition.

I'll have to let one of our German reading friends address your question, but I'll point out something you might not have considered:

If you currently own any base packages (or a lot of resources that might be in packages), see what your dynamic pricing upgrade cost is for Standard Bronze, as the English K&D is included. If it's close to $120 USD, you might consider up-/side-grading and get a few extra resources for not much (if any) extra.

I can not speak to the differences but the standard english translation has always been sold in 10 volumes, now this may or may not reflect the complete 15 volumes, someone else will have to answer that... Occasionally FL also will get unusual sets in for their pagination. For example Treasury of David I have seen several publishers release it over the years but always as 3 volumes... FL sells a 6 volume edition but from reading it, it is identical to the 3 volume releases and I can only guess it was originally 6 volumes even though it is not published that way now. The German is likely original and unaltered, meaning it is in public domain, and FL has a 1996 release based on the public domain translation but updated and changed enough to require royalties to be paid I am betting. I went to a free version online and randomly compared a few spots and did not notice any differences but I am sure they are there and the corrections/ changes  seem to be minimal form my very brief comparison.

Product page shows both commentary sets are included in Logos 7 libraries, which has a lower cost per resource along with more resources.

English product page shows 

• Volume 1: Pentateuch

German product page shows two volumes for Pentateuch:

• Die Bücher Mose: Genesis und Exodus
• Die Bücher Mose: Leviticus, Numeri, Deuteronomium

In a similar manner, English volume 2 combines translated contents of two German volumes. Both product pages include commentary on the same Old (Alte) Testament Books with different grouping for printed volume count.
