Read aloud speed adjustment and default voice

I am planning a presentation on a big tv screen where I would like have bible text read aloud.
Current options of .75, 1.0 and higher are limiting in getting natural sounding speech approximating a respectful delivery of God's text, rather than sounding more like the reading of a newspaper. I would like to vary speech speed between .75 and 1.0, is that possible?
I use win 10 and adjusting the control panel settings made no difference as to how speech was delivered or in what voice within the program.
Is there a way around these issues?

I think you need to restart Logos to apply the voice settings.

I love Logos' Read Aloud feature and I'm sure that it would be even better if the reading speed was more adjustable.

Within Logos, the given speed adjustments work without exiting. Using win 10 narrator adjustments do not work within Logos even with restating program.

Yes, I would like to see speed adjustable at .85 to .95. of normal. Using different default voice for Win might also be good.if Logos would allow it.

Same here! New 2 in 1 with Windows 10.
I excitedly loaded my purchased, tolerable, Ivona voice. It works in Windows 10 narrator perfectly.
Logos 7 chooses to stick with default Windows voice no matter what- no matter restarts, computer restart.
Please- I need this to work. I wanted the 2 in 1 so I'd be portable- I can sit anywhere and study, listen, etc.
Why doesn't Logos 7 in Win 10 [:(]follow the Windows setting like in Win 7?

This is my experience with Ivona on an HP notebook with Win 7==>Win 10 upgrade: When I used Speech Settings on Win 10, I didn't even see my Ivona voices (Brian & Joey) listed. I found the Control Panel applet below and made a desktop shortcut. It allows me to change to the Ivona voices and Logos uses them, too. I'm not sure if an OEM Win 10 will have this, but you could check.
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Speech\SpeechUX\sapi.cpl
By the way, if you've never used Brian (British), I think you'll find him (it) a very high quality voice with few computer artifacts. I also have a customized lexicon that expands and enforces correct bible book name pronunciation, which I will be happy to share, if you like.

Thank you! It is Win 10 OEM, but that familiar setting window popped right up! It was still set to the default male voice (even though the Windows 10 interface shows my Ivona voice.)
Sure- I would love the Lexicon. Just show me where to install it to.
Do you have a download link, or do you want my email?
God Bless!

Stuart:
On both My Win10 and Win7 machines, it goes here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\IVONA\IVONA 2 Voice
This is the British lexicon, but if you have an American one, you should be able to open them up in Notepad and copy/paste between the two.
Edit: Not sure why the link didn't stick when I posted, but here it is:
