I wasn't doing anything in particular when this occurred (keeps occurring). Just reading text, scrolling up and down, and moving from tab to tab. I have never had any problem with LOGOS on this computer before. It always runs very well/fast. Now it just locks up each time shortly after opening the programs and clicking on a few tabs and/or scrolling. The only way to close the program after "not responding" is to open the task manager and close it by clicking "end task."

    Have you tried loading to a blank layout and creating a new one from scratch? Were you doing something with "ask the author"? 

    On another note: How long have you had all the hidden resources? For many reasons, it is best not to hide so many... In your case, I think many/most are Perseus. Is that right? A better solution is to contact FL and have them lock the resources (remove from your account). You can then remove them from the hidden resources, which will improve performance.

    I saw how to load a blank layout in 4 and 5, but I have not succeeded yet.

    As of this morning I get the splash screen for 7 but then it disappears. starting it with the control key pressed brings up a Windows message that there is something wrong with Logos.

    If the blank layout doesn't work, please create a new thread, explain your issue clearly and post logs. See my signature line for the latter.

    Just over 1 1/4m is taken signing in.Your hidden resources take 4s to check but it is done after the Logos window opens, but it takes a further 2m before the layout starts to load.

    Try loading to a blank layout (with CTRL key held) as suggested and try Ask the Author if successful. Otherwise contact Customer Support who can better diagnose the issue.

    Hey Robert! I saw that you reached out to us for technical support soon after this thread and wanted to check in to see if this has been resolved. If you're still experiencing trouble, by all means let us know and we can continue to investigate.

    Hi,

    I want to thank everyone for their kind support and suggestions. I called technical support and after a little while they were able to identify that some of the links I set were broken and LOGOS was unable to figure out what to do when I clicked on the affected resources. Deleting the layout and starting over solved the problem. I will also look into the hidden resources but that hasn't seemed to create any problems or slow things down since it has been like that for over a year and a half. Thanks again!! Robert
