Glory to God in the Highest. Hallowed by His Name.
Personally, I like to see Glory and Honor be ascribed to the Name of the LORD, YAHWEH, JEHOVAH.
I also like the continuance of capitalized, personal pronouns referring to God as He.
Also, history is history and the capitalizations of the historical past cannot be changed.
Hallowed be His Name.
Anyone wanting to claim a personal relationship with a deity knowing the name might come in handy. Especially due to the fact the Creator of all things Yahowah is very clear in His third of 10 statements. Christians have been mislead by the poor or possibly purposefully errant translations in their English bibles.
From the Hebrew Exodus 20:7 7"You are not to lift up, support, or advance, forgive or dignify, respect or tolerate, through the Name or reputation of Yahowah, your God, lifeless and worthless deceptions or devastating and destructive falsehoods. For indeed, Yahowah will not forgive or leave unpunished those who deceive, beguile, or delude, using clever trickery to mislead in association with His Name, to promote vain and ineffectual lies which lead to lifelessness and destruction, or devastating deceptions which nullify our existence, leading to emptiness."
Giving it some thought the idea of removing the name of Yahowah from His witness all 7000 times it appears and replacing with LORD is in fact the sin which will not be left unpunished.
Now as to the idea the name cannot be pronounced because it lacks vowel: YHWH are all vowel in Hebrew. Are we able to prounouce all other words and names sharing these same letters Shalowm, Towrah, Halleluyah, Goywm? Now to the name Jehovah, sorry folks there is not V in Hebrew this is a modern contrivance not found in Scripture, and the letter J did not exist in any language until about 400 years ago.
According to Yahowah His children will know and use His personal name, the name Moseh was instructed to call Yahowah by in all occasions and forever.
Suggest you folks using LORD look up the meaning in any Hebrew dictionary. LORD is a title not a name and sadly it is the title given Satan by Yahowah. LORD Ba'al.
