I admit usually I search a specific title. But my dictionary coverage seemed thin, so I wanted to take a look using faceted search.
First, Logos doesn't sell dictionaries under product type, even after 'More'.
But that is not really true. You can trick the design by typing in dictionaries, in which case, suddenly there is indeed a product type 'Dictionaries'. Having tricked the system to display the product type (and selecting), then erasing your pseudo-search, your product type has now again disappeared, along with all its friends (encyclopedias, etc).
Let's say you want the OT apocrypha as a Bible type. You're in luck ... it's right there in the heading ... just no choice to actually select. I didn't try tricking it.
At the heart of the problem are product groups with less than 250 choices (some cut-offs are lower). I suppose from a faceted-design view, 250 is peanutty. Who'd want a type with only 249 choices??
And yes, I can open Logos and to find types in Logos.com. But I like to explore what I don't have. Though March Madness is still available.
