BUG: Collins Latin Dictionary and Grammer (CLDG) does not download into Logos 4

Hi. I purchased CLDG in the hope it would help me understand Latin words used by many commentaries and older works.
For Version 3, I was able to download the resource by clicking and running the download script from my orders page, so I now have the resource working in V3. I also ran a license sync and license file backup in V3 too.
Logos 4 continues to NOT detect or download this resource (however, other purchases have worked fine for me).
For now, I have copied the V3 file to c:\temp and then from V4, ran "scan c:\temp" and this has picked up the V3 file.
In V4, if I click on "Resource Information" for CLDG, it shows my file as being the V3 one (CLLLATDIC.lbxlls) rather than the expected result of "CLLLATDIC.logos4".
V4 continues to claim "No Updates" when I would have expected it to detect and download the *.logos4 version of this resource.

That may not be the case as some resources continue to be in L3 format. Someone that has it in L4 may confirm this.
Try Update Resources in the command box, but ensure that Use Internet is ON (in Program Settings).

Dave,
Thanks for your feedback and suggestion.
YES - I have tried "Update Now" and "Update Resources" with "Use Internet = ON".
The Orders/Instructions page for this resource claims "...exit and restart Logos 4 ... no other actions required" or words to that effect.
In fact, THAT DOES NOT WORK, so there is a fault/bug/error with this resource.
I have purchased other products, and closing and restarting V4 does trigger an automatic download.
Even if this resource only has a v3 format file, and is expected to be used for V4 too, there is still a fault with either the automatic download feature, or the instructions that tell me it will be automatic.
Logos needs to be able to assign tracking numbers to problems and let us track/monitor as it progresses.

Backup first and then delete the resource from both L3 and L4 resource folders. If it does not download to L4 then contact Customer Support

Dave,
I was NOT convinced that your suggestion would solve anything, as my original post gave clear details that the automatic download DID NOT WORK!
However, I tried your idea of renaming the CLDG.v3 file in my v4 resources directory.
Result: No variations on "update now" or "update resources" fixes it. My file is now missing and the title does not work.
I ran "update resources" with logging, and the selected portion reports:
2010-03-31 02:04:57.9450 17 Info UpdateManager Resource 'LLS:CLLLATDIC' is out of date.
2010-03-31 02:04:58.1710 17 Info UpdateManager Checking for resources with 'Unknown' status.
2010-03-31 02:04:58.2160 17 Info UpdateManager Starting Update Manager processing in 06:00:00.
2010-03-31 02:04:58.2160 1 Info LDLS4.AppModel No updates are available. The command reports that there was no updates, but no hints or errors in any way, that it detected an out of date (missing actually) file, but was unable to resolve it. This aspect too, MUST be addressed as there is no way I can imagine I am the only customer to have downloads fail.
I stand by my original claim that this is a BUG that Logos needs to address. It seems there is a fault with this resource on the logos servers.
I am about to use "scan c:\dirname" to reactivate the v3 file, but this BUG still needs to be addressed.

resources directory.I was attempting to create a slightly different scenario ie. resource not present in both L3 and L4, which you misinterpreted by renaming one file. I agree there is an issue and you should report this direct to Tech Support at Logos.

NO - I'm done with this BUG. They can read it here in all the details explained in full.
I see little point in reporting it to 2 or 3 different places, with different tools, with no idea where I should be watching for an answer.
I got to say, the Logos support is good, but the lack of official feedback on reported faults is starting to wind me up ...
So, to repeat, I'm done with this one. My last word.
However, the BUG continues and will impact others ...

There is no LOGOS4 version of this resource, just LBXLLS. (The latest version is 2008-05-14T18:05:30Z.)
I created a new test account, unlocked the Collins Latin Dictionary, and it downloaded with no problems. Without non-redacted log files from your installation, we probably won't be able to determine why it's not downloading for you.

Bradley,
Many Thanks for the feedback.
Well, I had "tried everything" in Logos4 before I downloaded it to V3 instead, and used the scan command to pick it up, so "something" was going on ...
However, I'm happy to take your word that it seems to be working, and that there is no error with NOT having a *.logo4 version of the file.
For me, I know have this resource working in V3 and V4 so I'm happy this is a done deal and is resolved.
If it happens, someone else has issues, maybe the comments above will help in some way.
Again, Thanks.
And for the record, YES, the CLDG is of some help understand Latin terms in some of the resources I have.
