Finding the right highlight note

Ok - I am probably missing something obvious but I thought I would ask anyway. Is there a way to:

1) Sync a note with a resource - I notice that note files do not have a "link set" choice in the resource panel menu)

2) Find a specific instance of a note by clicking on it. I use a lot of highlighting in my Bibles and there are times I want to find the exact place in the Notes file where that highlighter was stored. I typically have to sort the Note file by reference and then scroll to that reference and figure it out from that. In iOS you can click the highlighted text and see all the instances of that highlighting in whichever file they are found. Is this possible on the desktop?

No - this is not possible

Right-click on one of the highlighted words and select "Open annotations" on the left-hand side

This should open the notesfile to the correct place
