Maybe some of this will help you.
First off why XPS format, it is for Windows systems it is Microsoft’s alternative to PDF.
I use Pages with my MacBook Pro, I think Logos only lets you copy up to 100 pages of text at a time into the type of word processor of your choice.
As far as printing to double-sided printing maybe numbering them for odd pages then even pages after that. depending on the type of printer.
