Favorites, Again?

I continue to mark posts as "Favorites" using the More option located to the upper right of each post. But I can find no link, button, etc., that allows me to see the posts that I have marked as "Favorites". Any help would be appreciated.

Click on your name in the header of a post which will take you to your profile. There you will see "View favorites." Click on that and voila!

I was going to write to say thank you - but when I did what you suggested here is what I get:

That's very strange since I do get "Favorites" even though I haven't marked any as such. Try clicking on my name. I think you'll see what I mean.

Thanks George - that was enough of a hint to solve the problem. Aparently, "Favorites" are meant to be shared. There is a profile option "Share Favorites" which I turned off early in my use of the forums. Once I rechecked this option, I (as well as everyone else) could see my favorites.

I assumed this meant I could see my favorite posts, but I did not need to share them with others. As the forum software is configured, the only way I can see "Favorites" is to share them with everybody. I would prefer to use favorites as way to store my personal favorites - but not share that with the whole world.

A quick test will show that "share favourites" = NO means only you see your favourites!

But, as my earlier picture indicates, my favorites do not show if I choose "NO". Any other ideas?

Did you test this to see if it works differently for you than it does for me? I expected an option to show my favorites - someplace, even if not the homepage. The only way I can recall my favorites at this point is to make them public. I am not sure this is what I would like to see.

If this is a bug, how do we report it?

I checked a few places one would expect to see such an option, esp. as I thought i"d seen a visible option early on.
