Logos Package Name

Hello,

Not sure if this has been discussed in the past but I would like to see which bible package I have on the top of the screen. I started with 'Gold' a few years back and now I'm at 'Diamond'. I just think it would be nice if the level we have is shown somewhere on the top of the program.

Right now all screens look exactly the same, no matter what package we have.

The problem is which package do you refer to (many have multiple base packages), and what about next year when the new versions package may be brought at a lower level. People have got very upset about this in the past.

I don't mean to cause a fuss, I was just thinking that it would be nice to see the version you paid good money for shown somewhere on the screen. Most other software packages do this.

For me Gold, Silver, Bronze, Diamond etc doesn't hold a lot of significance as they only reflect the size of resource package I purchased. I tend to purchase different size resource packages for different denominational packages as well as the standard one and that has varied for me from Logos 4 to 7 and will again for Logos 8. So there is no one 'metal' reflective of what I own.

But I understand how if you only ever purchase the standard line of packages and move up in size of package that it might be important to you. What if for Logos 8 you decided to purchase Silver. You would still own your Logos 6 Gold Library, your Logos 7 Diamond Library and your Logos 8 Silver library. Should the program display, Gold, Diammind or Silver at the top ? That is the difficulty for Logos in deciding what to display at the top and to keep everyone happy. If they could come up with s solution that worked for everyone I agree with you this would be good to have.

With Logos 7 though what is a more useful measure is the level of feature set you own - Basic, Starter, Full, Extended, Cloud or Now and whether it is Logos or Verbum branded. And this is reflected somewhat in the program about dialog box.
