Highlighting

Is there anyway to copy and transfer the "highlights" with the selected verses into MicroSoft Word and retain the highlighting? I The words copy OK but the highlighting is lost.

    No, there isn't, unfortunately. The highlighting is a layer superimposed upon the text which you can turn on/off via the Visual Filters menu. It does not get copied when you copy text to paste into another application.

    The only way I can think of that you could copy a section of highlighted text and have the highlighting retained would be to do it as a screen capture.

    I think being able to copy highlighting along with text would be useful, though. You might want to post it as a suggestion on the Suggestions forum and/or post it and vote for it on the UserVoice site where Logos is tracking popularity of user feature requests: http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-4. There is already one similar to this, which is to allow printing text with highlighting.
