Printing in a MacOs office environment - need help

Hi everyone,

First time post to the forum.

I work in an office with a central photocopier that we all print to.  It requires authentication from entering a passcode in the print dialogue.  In printing a resource in Logos, there is never the option to print "using the system dialogue" where I can enter the printer authentication code.  My workaround for years has been just to print to pdf and then open up the pdf and print from there... kind of clunky for an expensive piece of software like Logos.

Any solutions to this?

Hi Aaron 

On the system preferences / printers & scanners you should have options to install the network printer, if the MacOS manages the network central photocopier it should take care of the login code. You may need some special drivers for the MacOS depending of the type of device.

For my own case i had to get a new color inkjet printer because the old one was not supported.

Edited: I looked for you and this link is shows how to setup a network copier / printed and to use account codes. It is for a Sharp printer if that is not what you have just google your photocopier type. and follow the setup. This was a good video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74cmRaSWczg
