I will grant you that my computer is aging, it's a first generation i5 with an aging GPU. About half of the time when I'm typing in the sermon editor I can tell that my fingers are ahead of the cursor and each character appears just after it should.
The other half of the time, the lag behind what I typed and what I see is absolutely massive. I've had up to 5 or 7 second delays. I can be an entire sentence ahead of what is appearing on the screen - which forces me into bad form of looking at the keys rather than the screen.
Seriously, Logos is the only program I have ever used that experienced that kind of a typing lag. It happens in sermon docs & notes. It happens at random times, a fresh boot? sure. Running all night? Yup. How about with twenty windows open across five monitors? Probably, but not necessarily.
I know it's linked to WPF's RichTextBox editor, but for crying out loud, what do I have to do to type in real time? Besides use any other word processor on the planet?
This is an old problem, an ongoing problem. Please please please just find a way to fix it.
