Curated Online Video Help

Hi.

I stumbled across a resource called 'Logos Curated Online Video Documentation', and thought I would try out the online video search, using the example provided. I saw no hits even amongst the online content (regardless of the size of my library).

Is this a subscription service? If so, why do I have the documentation? ... if not then what have I done wrong this time?!

For clarification: There isn't a space, but there needs to be one. Right? Is that what you were saying Graham?

I did just notice that Martin has copied the syntax directly from the Logos resource, so if HIS syntax is wrong, so is FL's!

Thank you Graham. That has fixed it. It too 45 seconds to find 42 hits online ... not speedy but working.

I agree with Alabama, the resource documentation seems to be incorrect.

Personally, I always get confused with spaces ... when to space and when not to space. To me adding the space splits the term into two terms, 'PreachingTheme God:', and 'Love' on its own (causing an error or simply ignored). I would expect there to be quotations PreachingTheme "God: Love" so that is is a single term; or better still a single term 'God:Love', as it is in the documentation.

But then, in an ideal world, I would like the system to spot the lack of a space after a colon, and add one, especially if there was no hits in the first instance.

Quotations are not needed in <PreachingTheme God: Love> because the <> acts to contain the scope of the text. A datatype reference such as this always starts with a one word name of the datatype, and therefore everything else up to the > is the text of the reference.

The exception to this is Bible references and a couple other datatypes which don't require the name of the datatype.
