Home Page back to Layout?

OK, so I open Logos and look over my Home screen for a bit, then I go to my layout that I want to start working in. I do some work in it and then go back to my Home page to look some other things over. Now, I want to go back to my layout. If I click on layouts and click back that way, it opens my books back up to where they were when it was saved and I have to return to the pages I was at. Now, I can, from the Home page, click the search option and it brings me back to my layout where I currently am in those books and I just have to close out the search panel. Easy enough, but is there not a tab to switch back from the Home page back to my current layout?

When you go back to your Home page, it appears over your layout. Your layout is still open behind your Home page.

All you have to do is click on the Home page button. It will dismiss the Home page and return you to your layout.

Yes. Just click on your Home button again and it will present you with what was opened before you clicked Home to begin with.

You simply click on the homepage button, which is really just a toggle.

It's not really obvious that it's a toggle. (E.g., the button doesn't have an alternate appearance, such as depressed.) While it's a nice shortcut, I do think it's one of those things that you have to discover, instead of it being intuitive or obvious.

Also, there's a bit of inconsistency. Even though the three buttons are grouped together and have a similar appearance, the Home and Library buttons act like toggles, yet Search isn't a toggle.

It's probably one of those things that could be improved to help make the program more friendly to anyone still learning their way around the program.

I agree it would make it easier for newcomers if it stood out more that it was a toggle of sorts. I am just glad there is a great community of helpful people here because I am sure I will have lots more questions in the future... :^)
