Removing books from library page

How do I remove unwanted books from my library page?  Several books are on the page that I have no interest in reading, and are optional downloads. I would prefer they were not taking up visual space.

    Welcome Tomi! [:)]

How do I remove unwanted books from my library page?

If it is a book that you own, and isn't one which comes free with the app, you can "hide" the resource on the desktop app and it should sync over that preference. If the book is one which comes free with the app, you are out of luck. For the most part, I don't recommend hiding most books, however.

I don't understand that last clause ("optional downloads"). However, you can use the syntax local: to show only downloaded resources or mytag: to show only books tagged with a given tag. With the latter, you could tag the books you are interested in being visible in both states (downloaded or "in the cloud").

Unless the behaviour has been changed recently the mobile apps ignore your hidden resources setting on the desktop app and they display all resources licensed to the user the publisher has given permission to be accessed via the mobile apps.

When a user downloads a mobile app a bible, I think LEB is the default . is a required download, you are required to have at least one bible downloaded locally at all times. It is possible for FSB other resources are required downloads when you install the app, such as the FSB but it's been a while since I installed it to be certain on these last point. Besides at least 1 Bible being a required download, and the particular requirements of FSB app, all other resources are optional downloads.

Select or should say unselect featured bibles, I suspect that might be what you are trying to hide.

Do you mean from the homepage (in contrast to the "library" as in the OP)? Or is this an android feature?

It was just a guess, as it was the only thing that made sense.

Alternatively if he meant items not on his device local: up in the search library bubble would show only device items.  But I thought from his wording it was homescreen. And not the actual library window.

I read below as to referring to the library and not the homepage. But your guess is as good as my guess Dan until OP further explains.
