Audio books will not maintain speed

When listening to an audio book (a mobile Ed audio version), I like to listen at 1.5x speed. When one chapter is finished and it forwards to the next one, it goes back to 1x. However, the little speed indicator still reads as 1.5x.

Can this be fixed so that the set speed will be maintained across chapter breaks?
