All you MAC savvy people out there please forgive me if I don't use appropriate terminology.
I have been using the Logos 4 MAC for a month and have been delighted with the resources, but this week when I attempted to use some of the features for a research paper the thing crashed.
I had been attempting to copy an art illustration to the body of my my paper, but the program consistently reproduced a partial version of the picture. (The library text in use was Jesus Christ: The Greatest Life; Cheney & Ellison; p222) I then attempted to cut and paste in windows, but same outcome.
I left the Logos window on my screen and attempted an online search for the same illustration from an art source. When I closed out my Safari search the Logos window evaporated along with my software. I was left with non responsive command buttons at my top tool bar and the Logos application icon on my desk top screen.
I clicked my desk top Logos button and a second one appeared (Logos Bible Software 7330?) along with the "Preparing your library" prompt as seen when I first installed a month ago. It is running now. I still have the the ap. buttons at my top screen, but none function and I have the 2 icons on my desktop.
I tried to trouble shoot by closing out and restarting my computer, but experienced the same thing again, so am leaving the library preparation run in hopes of having access later in the day.
Does anyone know if it will actually restore? What about the double use of space in my memory? If I delete one download will I still have the software?
Any help would be appreciated. I am kind of on a time crunch with the research paper.
Thanks,
SAK
