This definitely is it "from the horse's mouth", so to speak. It's an updated updated version of Robert Traina's book "Methodical Bible Study" (first edition 1952, I have a used book version of the second printing from 1959 - my book once even belonged to Larry Hurtado, seems he knows bible study well enough to have it sold away:-) which is still used as a textbook to teach inductive bible study by Dallas Theological Seminary
If you are into Kay Arthur, don't overlook the Vyrso store, with lots of books and especially https://vyrso.com/product/38985/discover-the-bible-for-yourself
