Three releases with no new features

Logos Now had new features added for every single release in version 6 beginning with 6.2 through 6.12

There has not been a single new feature added to Logos Now in versions 7.6 7.7 or 7.8

Since having access to new features is a significant part of the promised benefits of Logos Now, it seems that FL is not living up to its commitment.

It is true that we used to get 2-3, sometimes 5-7 new features every release, and now it's more like one new feature here or there.

I truly believe that FL would like to deliver on its LN commitment, and I suspect that they're not happy that things keep slipping. I'm sure they'd rather have delivered some features, rather than compensating LN members with a $50 coupon and other perks (which cost them money).

I also think that in a year or two from now, we'll be grateful for what FL has delivered, rather than be frustrated with how long it took for them to bring those features to fruition.

That is absurd.

In the first 8 releases of version 7 there have been (according to Logos) 7 new features.

In the 12 releases of version 6 there were 42 new features.

I expect enhancements to what is already a feature rather than a completely new feature every month. Logos Now works for me the way it is. Theoretically, we can remain at version 7 indefinitely and just keep adding new features and enhancements, but I'm sure that is not the way it's going to progress.

We have had a bit of a lull of new features for Now members (though there are a couple of items that should be on that list that didn't make it, like new proverbs, authorship, and recipient data in Bible Browser). I'm sorry about that. I reviewed the schedule with the team today, and it looks like we probably will have one or more items ready for each of the next four releases. So it should pick back up a little bit, even though we've been working on other projects as per my other comments.

We are committed to making sure you're getting good value out of Logos Now, and we're always happy to hear suggestions of what you'd like to see.

I'm not a programmer, but I would think quality takes time, and I'm fine with things taking more time. perhaps Logos should change the expectation that it only takes 6 weeks to turn out a new feature for every release. I don't feel let down, but the flurry of new features in the LN version 6 releases set a very high expectation for a lot of people. I'm sure lots of those were being worked on before LN launched.

One thing I would like to see is a better understanding where Logos 7 is headed, without dates of course, I really liked the heads up about the new Notes that is comming, and Bob P letting us know about plans for the atlas feature.

Thank you, Phil. I appreciate your filling in what is going on. Please don't assume that the average Logos Now user has any idea of these things because both of your posts are in beta threads, which most of us do not read.

BTW, my feedback: Anything you can do to make the Notes feature a simple and powerful cross resource feature would be of the highest value. I've been putting my notes into Evernote for years now because i've found the current and past Notes features to be unintuitive and difficult to use in a helpful way. I think that the Notes feature is the single worst feature in Logos and i've been a user since 2.0g and i've been through Camp Logos and still found the Notes feature to be difficult to fathom and implement in my daily studies with Logos. I'm encouraged to see this as a major project and i can only hope it becomes useful and useable.

I'm very glad to hear that and excited to see what's coming. While I appreciate the web app improvements, I always benefit from the new tools and features your team creates. Keep up the great work!
