Snag It Users

I was trying to use Snag It 9 to select a portion of a screenshot in Logos 4 to help answer a forum question another user had the other day. I was able to copy the captured image to the clipboard (verified it was there by pasting it into a blank Word document) but was unable to actually paste it into the forum post I was writing (the paste option was greyed out). Can anyone tell me what I am missing or doing wrong?

I don't think you can paste images on this forum. Try saving the capture to your computer, and the uploading it to the post. using the image attachment.

The forum editor does not support pasting an image (at least to my knowledge). You will need to save the image in SnagIt. Then in the forum editor's toolbar you will notice a paperclip. When you click on the paperclip a pop-up dialog box will appear. Use the Browse button to locate the file you just saved with SnagIt. Then click the Insert button of that dialog box. (make sure that your cursor is in the position of the editor where you want the image before using the paperclip).

Hi Emery,

After you Captured it the Snagit Editor appears with the capture in it. You need to do a "Save As". Save it to where you can find it. When you want to paste the capture in to the forum you need to Attach it with the paper clip shown above. Then you need to find your saved capture with will have a .png ending. That's it.

Hope this helps and I wait to see if you captured the gist of this.
