Hebrew WITHIN X WORDS search not working

I've searched for answers and watched tutorials, but I can't get this to work. Here's the search:

<Lemma = lls/he/עַיִן> WITHIN 15 WORDS <Lemma = lls/he/הַר>

This turns up zero results. If I change the search to the following:

that DOES work. And if I search for the following in Greek:

<Lemma = lls/el/εἶδον> WITHIN 15 WORDS <Lemma = lls/el/ὄχλος>

that works too. So...

1. I'm obviously searching the right book since changing "WITHIN 15 WORDS" to "AND" (and changing NOTHING ELSE) nets me 29 results in 13 verses.

2. I'm obviously using the correct syntax since "WITHIN 15 WORDS" works perfectly when searching the Greek New Testament.

I'm stumped. As far as I can see, my initial search above should work. But it doesn't. Any thoughts?

BHS (Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia--Morphologically Tagged Edition) for the Hebrew search. I can do it as a Bible search "Search All Bible Text in All Passages in BHS" or as a morph search "Search All Morph Text in All Passages in BHS". Either way the AND search works but the WITHIN 15 WORDS search does not.

Bill, this seems to be a rather old and deprecated version of BHS - see this thread for some information - which may or may not be the reason for your issues. Can you run the search in one of the Hebrew bibles that are actively supported by Logos?

There's nothing wrong with your search syntax. That particular resource is very old and has problems working correctly with a couple of newer features, including the "WITHIN # WORDS" search syntax. You should be able to use something like the following instead:
<Lemma = lls/he/עַיִן> WITHIN 75 CHARS <Lemma = lls/he/הַר>

Hmmm. Looks like a minimum of $49.99 to upgrade to a newer version. Unless I'm missing some deal where I get a discount if I own an old one. Thanks for the info.

I'm not aware of a discount when upgrading from an old one - but the Lexham Hebrew Bible, for example, is available in a lot of base packages. Depending on what you already have that could be an option.
