Logos 7 64 Bit????

How do I know if I am running 64 Bit or 32 Bit software?

I recently had to reinstall.

I looked into the normal program folders in Windows and Logos is not situated in the default folder nor is the installation found in the x86 folder.

I have been having issues with my PC and Logos recently and decided to do a fresh install and am of course up to date on everything, so I have new Windows and new Logos.

So how do I know if I am running 32 Bit or 64 Bit to make sure I am getting everything out of my PC?

My PC came preloaded with Office, but I always have to uninstall it and re-install the 64 bit version which handles larger files more readily because they preload 32 bit.

I am certain it would be the same with Logos.

Any help here?

Thanks! That did the trick! Logos has done wonderfully something Microsoft cannot manage and admirably installs the correct version by default! Thanks for the links!

The first time I installed Logos, I did the typical install. The second time (virus,) I installed on my other partition in the drive hoping it would save me in trying to reload all my resources.

I guess to fight piracy that did not work as my 3rd time (virus again) it did not recognize the resources in the same folder, so I decided to go back to the typical location in a 4th install since the 3rd did not recognize. Apparently the viruses were slowing my system down. Now things seem to be running much smoother Still downloading resources.

Anyone know how to install Logos in a non-system partition and then the next time I have to install it Logos will know and not have to re-download all my resources again? I tried but Logos refused to install in same location unless I deleted a number of folders from it. I kept the data ones and it did not acknowledge them. I do this type of partioning all the time and it makes a fresh OS install easy.

I plan on not allowing anyone to plug their USB into my system again due to frequent viral issues! I am a missionary in Nepal, so hard to avoid viruses!

If you install it anywhere, there is a scan C:.... command where you can type in the old path and Logos will compare those filles with your account and unlock them.

Logos installs to your \Users folder by default. To change that location you first have to uninstall Logos and then perform a Custom installation e.g. see https://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers#Method_3 (backup the \Resources folder before you uninstall).

My installation is on a non-system partition E:\ and it works well.
