My wish to Logos web up
The Logos up would be more meaning full, if personal books: namely Bibles would be integrated to it.
Blessings in Christ.

Hi Tes
Tes said:The Logos up would be more meaning full, if personal books: namely Bibles would be integrated to it.
I totally understand why this is important but I would be surprised if it appears any time soon if at all.
I don't think, however, I have seen Faithlife commenting on this so it will be interesting to see any comments

Logos seems to have made it quite clear for legal and logistical reasons personal books, no matter what they are will never be made available on mobile or now assumably Web versions. I do understand this, I have personal books and Bible translations on my iPad via Accordance. I would love for FL to give us this ability one day but they made it clear it is not something they are willing to consider so I stopped asking. For the few essential things I want on my iPad I use accordance it's not a perfect solution but it works for me. Now the couple Bible translations that are "personal books" in Accordance were done by others and I do not know how difficult they are to do, other than I believe the major draw back there is the need for the personal book bibles to follow the versification of the KJV/ protestant cannon...

Faithlife promised the possibility of synchronizing personal books with Mobile devices, but later on have changed their decision. Alright they may have their own reason, but now to attract people to subscribe to Logos now they have come up with this choice. I hope they may think over it.
Blessings in Christ.

I'd assume that coordinating PB details might be a design issue; multiple desktops, and especially with the mobile apps. But from day one, folks still have trouble deleting a PB, so PBs seem a major thinking hurdle for Logos.
But the web is an easier problem. Submit a doc, compile on a server. Available. The issue of copyrights isn't a new problem. Any site faces that issue.
I think the bigger issue is what Tes hints at .... Bibles. Logos can never directly support all the Bibles people need. Not at $10-15 a pop. Bob earlier also spoke to user-interlinear support .... again, Bibles. He used to limit his mission statement to North America. Then he sort of adopted 'the world' ... but not the cosmos .... latin support is still a bit foreign..
Tes is right.
